Portland Records Seventh Homicide of 2026 After Early-Morning Shooting in Centennial

PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland notched up its seventh homicide of 2026 with the death of a shooting victim in the Centennial Neighborhood during the early hours of Sunday morning.

 

Homicide Detectives Have Made No Arrests At This Stage

Homicide detectives are investigating, and no arrests have been made at this stage.

The shooting occurred at 3.11 a.m. in the 14700 block of Southeast Stark Street. When East Precinct officers arrived on the scene, they found an injured adult male who died shortly after he was admitted to the hospital.
