Multnomah County Deputies Seek Dark Blue SUV After Road Rage Shooting Near Southeast Foster Road

MULTNOMAH COUNTY, Ore. — Residents living along Southeast Foster Road, near Southeast Richey Road or SE 172nd Avenue in unincorporated Multnomah County, are asked to check surveillance footage taken during the early hours of Sunday morning for a vehicle matching the description of a road rage suspect.

The vehicle is described as an older model. dark blue Ford Expedition SUV. It has a distinct cold-colored bumper and no license plates. However, a temporary tag is displayed in the bottom left corner of the rear window.

The road rage incident occurred at 2.44 a.m. yesterday, May 31. Dispatchers from 911 received a call from a driver who reported that his car was shot at near the intersection of Southeast Foster Road and Southeast Richey Road.

The 24-year-old driver reported that the shooting occurred after he had passed the Ford Expedition in his pickup truck.

Deputies who responded to the scene found evidence of gunfire. This included bullet impacts on the victim’s truck and shell casings on the ground.

The victim had two passengers – a 19-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman. None of them was injured in the incident.
