Mt. Ashland Opening Day 2024

The Mt. Ashland Ski Area opens to all guests on Saturday, December 7, but  Uphill Access is available between November 28 and December 1 for those who want to take some pre-season turns. From Saturday, the Sonnet, Comer, and Windsor lifts operate from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Guests will be welcomed to significant upgrades. The Lithia Chair, Mt. Ashland’s first new chairlift in over three decades, debuts thanks to generous contributions from Sid and Karen DeBoer and the Sid and Karen DeBoer Foundation.

The official opening date for the Lithia Chair is expected to be announced soon. Complimentary 24/25 Winter Season neck gaiters will be given to the first 100 guests to ride the Windsor lift on December 6.

Starting December 7, single-day lift tickets will be available and all guest services, including lessons, equipment rentals, the retail shop, the T-Bar, and the Gemütlichkeit Grill, will be available from Opening Day.
