Robocall Settlement With Oregon-Based Concora Credit Could Pay $250 to $650; Deadline to Claim Is Monday
People eligible for a nationwide robocall settlement involving Oregon-based Concora Credit have until Monday, Oct. 19, to submit a claim for an estimated payment of $250 to $650.
Monday’s Seal v. Concora Claim Deadline and Potential Payments
The proposed settlement would resolve a class-action lawsuit alleging that Concora placed calls to cellular phones using artificial or prerecorded voices without the recipients’ prior express consent. Concora and plaintiff Alexis Seals agreed to settle the disputed claims without continuing the litigation.
Concora will contribute $8.375 million to a settlement fund for participating class members. The estimated payment per approved claim may vary depending on how many eligible people submit claims and the amount remaining after court-approved legal fees and other costs are deducted.
The settlement has received preliminary approval, but payments depend on final court approval.
A fairness hearing is set down for Nov. 24 at 1 p.m. If the settlement becomes final, approved payments are expected within 30 days after the judgment becomes final, although an appeal could cause delays.
Who Qualifies for Seal v. Concora Claim and How to Submit a Claim
The settlement covers people across the United States who received a call from Concora Credit, or a call placed on its behalf, to a cellular telephone number that was not assigned to a Concora account holder.
The call must have used an artificial or prerecorded voice and occurred between May 2, 2021, and May 31, 2026.
Claims may be mailed, or- if you received a settlement postcard and claim form- you may submit your claim online at SealsTCPASettlement.com by Oct. 19. Mail to the Settlement Administrator – 9243, PO Box 2599, Faribault, MN 55021-9599. Mailed claims must be postmarked by the deadline.
Concora Credit has locations in Beaverton, Oregon, and Akron, Ohio. Those who did not receive a postcard may request a claim form by writing to the administrator and providing proof that they received an eligible artificial or prerecorded call or message.
Eligible class members who don’t submit a claim won’t receive a payment. However, if the settlement is approved and they do not exclude themselves, they will still release certain claims covered by the agreement.
