Oregon Grandson Arrested for Stealing $90k from Grandparents in Years-Long Scheme
It was not such a Sweet Home for the grandparents of Sean H. Steinborn (28) who stole $90,000 from them in unauthorized transactions.
Police from Sweet Home in Linn County, Oregon, confirmed that Steinborn was arrested on Monday after an extensive investigation into the theft between 2020 to 2024.
The investigation revealed that Steinborn stole $90,000 in transactions with vendors such as PlayStation, Amazon, DoorDash, Network, and Walmart.com.
Steinborn was booked into the Linn County Jail and charged with one count of first-degree aggravated theft, four counts of first-degree theft, and two counts of first-degree criminal mistreatment, according to Sweet Home police and court records.
Steinborn will appear in court on April 7.
