Medford Police Investigate Brutal Assault Leaving Man in ICU After Attack in Lowe’s Parking Lot

MEDFORD, Ore. — Responding to reports of a person down in the Lowe’s parking lot at Crater Lake Plaza at about 2 am on Thursday morning, officers from the Medford Police Department (MPD) found an unconscious man with a significant head injury.

The victim is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). A suspect was detained and interviewed after a detective and forensic technician joined the investigation.

The assault investigation is still underway, and the police have not yet released the names of the victim or suspect. MPD indicated that further information will be made available as the case progresses.
