Medford Man Shot After Allegedly Trying to Break Into Apartment With Axe

MEDFORD, Ore. — A suspect with gunshot wounds, 22-year-old Julian Moon Haight, was hospitalized after being shot by the occupant while trying to break into a Medford apartment with an axe on Tuesday at approximately 4:55 a.m.

Medford Police responded to a report of a person in mental distress in the 600 block of South Oakdale Avenue after a caller reported that a neighbor in an adjacent apartment was screaming and behaving erratically.
