Douglas County Task Force Busts Convicted Felon with Drugs and Illegal Firearm in Glendale Traffic Stop

The Douglas Inter-Agency Narcotics Team (DINT) arrested a felon in possession of suspected drugs and an illegal firearm during a traffic stop on the I-5 Interstate in Glendale on Thursday afternoon.

Bobby Hogue (34) of Riddle was detained on the scene after detectives uncovered suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine during a search of his vehicle.

Detectives then searched the suspect’s home in the 3,000 block of Canyonville-Riddle Road. They seized a firearm and a small amount of suspected methamphetamine. As a convicted felon, Hogue is prohibited from possessing firearms.

Hogue was lodged at the Douglas County Jail for the suspected possession, delivery, and manufacture of a Schedule II controlled substance, and a felon in possession of a firearm.

The Douglas Inter-Agency Narcotics Team (DINT) works across multiple jurisdictions to tackle drug-related crimes.

The task force receives support from several agencies, including the Oregon-Idaho High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA), Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Roseburg Police Department, Oregon State Police, Douglas County District Attorney’s Office, and the Bureau of Land Management.
