Asante Ashland Keeps Emergency Care Open After Hospital License Closure

ASHLAND, Ore. — Asante announced that Ashland Community Hospital will close its hospital license at 11 am today and will, in the future, operate as Asante Ashland, an emergency medical services satellite under the license of its parent hospital, Rogue Regional Medical Center. Patients’ medical records will remain with Asante.

Nonprofit treats nearly 600,000 people in a nine-county area of southern Oregon and northern California and employs 6,000 people.

The group includes Asante Physician Partners, Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, Asante Ashland (a satellite location of RRMC), and other health care locations.

Services available at Asante Ashland will include:

  • 24/7 Emergency Department
  • Outpatient surgeries
  • Lab
  • Imaging
