Klamath County Biker Killed After Crashing Into Freightliner On Highway 58

KLAMATH COUNTY, Ore. — Oregon State Police (OSP) responded to a fatal two-vehicle crash on Highway 58 at the intersection with Crescent Lake Highway in Klamath County on Saturday at 12:23 a.m., after 47-year-old Terryl Thomas Ball of Crescent Lake Junction, riding a Yamaha TW200 motorcycle, had crashed.

Ball entered Highway 58 from Crescent Lake Highway on his northbound Yamaha TW200 motorcycle and struck the side of a westbound Freightliner commercial motor vehicle and trailer operated by Hattan Seraj Alotaibi (32) of Clackamas. Cascades Central Fire, Crescent Fire, and ODOT assisted OSP, but Ball was tragically declared deceased at the scene. Alotaibi was reportedly uninjured.

Highway 58 was affected for about 2.5 hours during the on-scene investigation.
