Million-Dollar Drug Bust at Oregon Wildlife Park Uncovers Guns, Meth, and a Machine Gun
A joint law enforcement operation involving several search warrants at the West Coast Game Park resulted in officers seizing $1.6 million in cash, firearms including a machine gun, drugs, and cashier’s bonds, checks, and certificates.
Suspect Arrested 12 Days Later
Twelve days later, Brian Tenney (52) was arrested by the Bandon Police Department in connection with the joint operation.
Tenney was taken to the Coos County Jail and has been charged with possession, manufacturing, and attempted distribution of methamphetamine.
According to the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, the West Coast park operation took place on 15 May and involved the South Coast Interagency Narcotics Team, the Oregon State Police, the Humane Society, the Department of Agriculture, the Internal Revenue Service, and Oregon Department of Justice.
During the operation, officers seized 80 grams of methamphetamine, 44 firearms, including a gun modified into a machine gun, 8 grams of cocaine, and $1.6 million in cash, cashier’s checks, bonds, and certificates.
The investigation is ongoing.
