Josephine County Authorities Seize 600 Pounds of Marijuana and Destroy 840 Plants in Cave Junction Raid

JOSEPHINE COUNTY, Ore. — The Josephine County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that another illegal marijuana grow site- in the 5000 block of Holland Loop Road, Cave Junction, was dismantled on September 23 after police seized 600 pounds of processed marijuana and destroyed 840 marijuana plants.

Executing a search warrant issued in their investigation, the Josephine Marijuana Enforcement Team (JMET) visited the illegal marijuana grow site with the assistance of the United States Marshals Service (USMS) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Aside from illegal marijuana, the property also had several electrical, water, and solid waste code violations.

While the primary suspects were not at the site during the time of the search, they will be charged with Unlawful Manufacturing of Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana if and when they are found.
