Get Your Boat Spring-Ready with Jackson County’s Free Safety Check Event

JACKSON COUNTY, Ore. — The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) Marine Division wants to help you prepare for safe spring water activities.

The annual Watercraft Dry Dock Safety Inspections will occur on March 15 at the Marine Patrol / Search & Rescue Building, 620 Antelope Rd., White City, on Saturday, March 15, from 10 am to 4 pm.

JCO invites the public to bring their boat or personal watercraft along—with the required safety equipment—for their annual safety inspection. No appointment is necessary. The U.S. Coast Guard will be available for inspections, and 2025 Oregon State Marine Board safety stickers will be issued for boats that pass inspection.
