Preliminary investigations by OSP, assisted by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Central Douglas Fire, and the Oregon Department of Transportation, indicated that the Honda was traveling eastbound near milepost 5.3 on Hwy 138 when it veered off the south side of the highway.

The vehicle struck the embankment before becoming airborne. It rolled over on landing, coming to a stop down the embankment.
