Two Teens Shot at Hillsboro Area Party That Drew Nearly 200 People

HILLSBORO, Ore. — Two people, believed to be teenagers, were shot at a party near Hillsboro, which attracted almost 200 revelers on Saturday night.

The party took place in the forest near the landmark airplane home, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, whose deputies arrested a 16-and-17-year-old in connection with the shooting.

Tidings Insight
Because the suspects are minors, authorities often release fewer details. Oregon juvenile court records are generally withheld from public inspection unless a court allows access or a case moves into adult court.

The victims of the shooting suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital by emergency crew responders.

The Boeing 727, located in a rural forest in Washington County, was converted into a private residence by engineer Bruce Campbell.
