Portland Police Arrest 19 Year Old Suspect After Drive By Shooting in the Ardenwald Johnson Creek Neighborhood
PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland Police officers found and arrested 19-year-old Kordayle ReLa Dorley of Portland, a suspect in yesterday’s non-injury, drive-by shooting in the Ardenwald-Johnson Creek Neighborhood. He faces attempted murder and other charges.
On Monday, Portland Police Bureau (PPB) Officers assigned to Central Precinct responded to a victim’s 911 report of a drive-by shooting in the area of Southeast Van Water Street and Southeast 36th Avenue at 11:20 a.m. The victim’s vehicle had been hit by gunfire, but no injuries were reported.

After the victim gave a description of the suspect vehicle, Officers found it at 24 Hour Fitness at 4546 Southeast McLoughlin Boulevard.
Witnesses saw Dorley enter the gym, discard property, and then leave on foot. Officers arrested him after he exited the building and seized a handgun found inside the 24 Hour Fitness as evidence.
Dorley is being charged with Attempted Murder, Attempted Assault in the first degree, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm.
