One Man Killed in Eugene Walmart Parking Lot Shooting as Detectives Seek Answer

EUGENE, Ore. — Eugene Police Department detectives investigating Friday’s shooting incident in the Walmart parking lot that left one person dead indicated that the person who shot the firearm stayed on the scene and has cooperated with law enforcement.

After Eugene Police responded to reports of the shooting in the W.11th Walmart parking lot on Friday at 5:18 p.m., a 21-year-old man was found deceased. The victim’s name is being withheld to give his family time to process the tragic news.
