Hillsboro Search Turns Grim as Investigators Recover Body Parts From Tualatin River

HILLSBORO, Ore. — Responding to reports from a kayaker that they had found a body part in the Tualatin River on Friday, Washington County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) searchers found another body part the next day.

Deputies went to Hillsboro’s Rood Bridge Park around 5:10 p.m. after receiving the report, and searchers found another body part on Saturday. Authorities don’t know who the body parts belonged to, and WCSO declined to say what body parts were discovered.

The  sheriff’s office indicated that searchers are continuing their efforts, and WCSO is investigating the parts found as a death.

The Sheriff’s office asks anyone with information about the case to contact their office at 503-846-2500.
