Grants Pass Police Crack Down on Retail Theft with Zero-Tolerance Operation at WinCo and Walmart
GRANTS PASS, Ore. — The Grants Pass Police partnered with local agencies on Saturday in an operation that seeks to thwart retail theft at WinCo and Walmart on Grants Pass Parkway.
Joining forces with the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office, Josephine County Community Corrections, WinCo Loss Prevention, and Wal-Mart Loss Prevention, the Grants Pass Police Department conducted a Zero-Tolerance surveillance and arrest targeting thieves stealing from both retailers.
Six thieves were apprehended during the single evening operation, two of which avoided being taken to jail. 36-year-old Chauntelle Nadine Stulce was released with a citation because her young children were with her, and a 15-year-old male juvenile was released with a citation.
The following people were arrested and lodged at the Josephine County Jail:
- 37-year-old Kendra Marie Anderson was also arrested for possession of methamphetamine, a controlled substance.
- 30-year-old Thomas Murphy Grady O’Hara
- 26-year-old Nick Dustin Farmer
- 23-year-old Dylan Andrew Thatcher
The Grants Pass Police Department indicated that these operations will continue as they pursue all retail theft with zero tolerance.
