Eugene Police Bust Organized Crime Ring Accused of Targeting Asian-American Families

EUGENE, Ore. — Seven foreign nationals, all members of a well-resourced and financially supported crime ring, have been arrested by the Eugene Police Department for allegedly targeting Asian-American families in the area.

In what the EPD describes as ‘a chaotic scene’ last Thursday night, the seven men were detained after the police ordered a shelter-in-place that lasted for several hours.

The arrests followed a Eugene City Council meeting earlier this month, at which it was revealed that the city’s license plate-reading cameras had captured details of a vehicle that led to a search warrant being served on October 9 in the 2400 block of Skyline Boulevard.

A shelter-in-place was declared to prevent the suspects from fleeing the area.

The seven men facing charges of burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary are: Steven Alexander Quirogasolano (27), Robinson Camacho Rodrigues (31), William Steven Rodriguez (26), Denison Martinez (24), Jesson Quintero (27), Jhon Alexander Quintero (44), and Jhon Quintero (24).
