Coos County Narcotics Team Finds Guns, Fentanyl, and Cash in North Bend Raid
COOS COUNTY, Ore. — The South Coast Interagency Narcotics Team (SCINT), including members of the Coos County Sheriff’s Office, returned to Michael O’Neill’s residence at 2960 Broadway Ave, North Bend, Oregon, for a second time after receiving multiple reports from the public. Four suspects were arrested, and drugs and guns were seized.
On September 16th, 2025, SCINT obtained a search warrant for Michael O’Neill and Christopher Medeiros, primary suspects in an investigation. Police were searching for evidence of the crimes of possession, distribution, and manufacture of controlled substances, and the warrant included the seizure of firearms used or intended for use.
The Coos County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed the warrant at about 17:00 hours. Michael O’Neill, Christopher Medeiros, and Alejandra Salcedolozeau, who was found to have three active warrants out of Coos County, as well as one other person found on the property, were all detained without incident.
During the search of O’Neill’s residence, SCINT found three firearms and a suppressor. Medeiros was found in possession of about one and a half ounces of fentanyl, including pills and powder fentanyl, and $7,244.00 U.S dollars.
O’Neill was lodged at the Coos County Jail for possession of a firearm by a felon and unlawful possession of a suppressor, and Salcedolozeau was also lodged at the same jail. The controlled substances found in possession of Medeiros have been sent to the Oregon State Police crime lab for analysis.
