Clackamas County Sheriff Investigating Body Found Near Highway 26

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office received reports that a dead body was found in the Welches area of unincorporated Clackamas County on Friday.

Deputies from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office attended the scene near East Highway 26 and East Miller Road at about 8:30 a.m., and the authorities are investigating the human remains at the location.

County Investigators are working to identify the person and establish the circumstances surrounding the death.
