Two Arrested in Coos County After 350 Animal Neglect and Drug-Related Charges at Bandon Safari Park
COOS COUNTY, Ore. — Bandon Police Department (BPD) officers arrested 53-year-old Brian Tenney and 30-year-old Edith S. Beckner on Friday on felony warrants for charges relating to an Oregon State Police (OSP) investigation of the West Coast Game Park Safari facility in Bandon. The pair faces over 350 charges.
Tenney and Beckner both had active felony warrants that provided for nationwide extradition out of the Coos County Circuit Court. The charges they are facing are:
- Tenney: 315 counts of second-degree animal neglect and five counts of first-degree animal neglect, unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of meth and cocaine, unlawful possession of a machine gun, reckless endangering another person, and racketeering.
- Beckner: 315 counts of second-degree animal neglect, five counts of first-degree animal neglect, racketeering, and reckless endangering another person.
