On its web page, the organization says the federal government has defied courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked civil rights, and slashed services.

In Southern Oregon, No King rallies have been organized in Medford, Grants Pass, Jacksonville, Klamath Falls, Mt. Sashta, and Yreka.

Medford Police Department’s Executive Support Specialist, Lieutenant Geoff Kirkpatrick, confirmed that a police presence will be at the Medford rally which starts at 10 a.m. on McAndrews Road between Biddle Road and Crater Lake Avenue. The rally has been scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon.

Kirkpatrick says the police respect that individuals have the right to freedom of speech, but there will be additional police officers on duty to ensure an incident-free rally.
