Public Hearing Set Friday for Medford’s 490-Unit Haya Park Development

MEDFORD, Ore. — A public hearing to review the proposed Haya Park development will be held before the Site Plan and Architectural Commission (SPAC) on Friday, Nov. 7, at noon.

The Haya Park development is expected to add nearly 500 new housing units to the area, spread across 26 two- and three-story buildings comprising 490 units across two phases. Details are:

  • Development site: South of Coal Mine Road and east of North Phoenix Road.
  • Phase 1A (property owner Ramzi Fakhoury): 13 multi-family buildings on approximately 12.5 acres
  • Phase 1B (property owner John Bottala): 13 multi-family buildings on approximately 12.09 acres

Many factors, such as traffic-impact considerations, are still under review and may lead to modifications to the final project plan. Developers will have two years to begin construction, with the option to request a one-year extension if the plans are approved.
