Portland Police Raid Nets Drug Bust, Illegal Guns, and Cash as Couple Faces Serious Charges
PORTLAND, Ore. — In a crackdown on crime in the city, Portland law enforcement units staged and executed a search warrant of a residence in which a couple was arrested, and drugs, cash, and firearms seized.
The operation took place during the early hours of the morning at the 1600 block of Northeast 66th Avenue on 14 May and involved members of the Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit, in coordination with the North Precinct Neighborhood Response Team, the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office, the Special Emergency Reaction Team, and the Crisis Negotiation Team.
Arrested were Patrick J. Rambert (46) and Brianna M. Streeter (31), both of Portland. Officers found that Rambert had an outstanding probation warrant for criminally negligent homicide.
Officers Seized Cocaine, Illegally Owned Firearms, and Cash
During the search, the task force seized 195.4 grams of cocaine, three illegally owned handguns, and $9,424 believed to be proceeds from the sale of drugs.
The following day, the Narcotics and Organized Crime (NOC) Unit and the Neighborhood Response Team (NRT) searched a storage unit connected to the suspects in the 1500 block of Northeast 67th Avenue where they seized six illegally possessed firearms and over 1,000 rounds of ammunition.
The search warrant of the storage unit was obtained after officers received information about an individual involved in drug trafficking and in possession of illegal firearms.
Patrick Rambert was taken to the Multnomah County Detention Center for his outstanding warrant and charges of the manufacture, delivery, and possession of cocaine, and three counts of a felon in possession of a firearm.
Brianna Streeter was also transported to Multnomah County Detention Center where she was charged with the manufacture, delivery, and possession of cocaine.
