Oregon Woman Found Dead in Parked Car in Northwest Portland Was Shot, Police Say

The Medical Examiner has determined that Krystal Lynne Pendergraph (39), who was found in a parked vehicle in Northwest Portland on Saturday afternoon, died of homicide by gunshot.

Police officers from the Central Precinct responded to a welfare check call at 5.09 p.m. about a vehicle parked on Northwest Kearney Street, between Northwest 22nd and 23rd Avenue.

The police were told that there was an adult female in the vehicle who appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound.

On arrival, officers determined that Pendergraph was deceased.
