Oregon Strengthens Water Safety With New Rules for Wells and Groundwater

Senate Bill 1154 and House Bill 3525 have been signed into law by Oregon Governor Tina Kotek and are seen as essential steps to ensure the health of all Oregonians, particularly those living in rural communities.
The Groundwater Quality Protection Act has been upgraded by Senate Bill 1154 and will promote proactive measures and ensure accountability. House Bill 3525 deals with the testing of well water to ensure the safety of drinking water.
