A Eugene school district employee is one of three women arrested for operating an online drug outlet, selling opioids in exchange for cryptocurrency.
Jennifer Blake, who worked as a psychologist at the Chavez Elementary in the 4J school district, is currently in custody in the Polk County Jail.
Together with Amanda Heffelfinger, Blake is alleged to have processed and shipped drugs from Oregon, using the U.S. Postal Service.
Three Women Sold LSD, Ecstasy, Meth, and Ketamine
The third accomplice is Jesse Wasson, and the three women stand accused of selling drugs such as LSD, Ecstasy, methamphetamine, and ketamine, in exchange for cryptocurrency.
The Ohio-based Cyber narcotics task force in Columbus uncovered a woman’s website operating as Rocky Mountain Connections. Their investigation led to an indictment by federal prosecutors.
Blake’s involvement in the online drug sales was revealed by Ohio’s new station, WSYX.
A spokesman for the Eugene 4J School District has confirmed that Blake is an employee, but says she is not currently working in any of the district schools.
Heffelfinger is also in custody in the Polk County Jail.
