McMinnville Resident With a History of Drug Trafficking is Sentenced to 10 Years in a Federal Prison

MCMINNVILLE, Ore. — A 46-year-old man with a long history of drug trafficking in Oregon was yesterday sentenced to 10 years and one month in federal prison, as well as four years of supervised release.

Travis Charles Donnahoo of McMinnville also had five prior state convictions for distributing drugs in Oregon and four outstanding warrants of arrest.

His conviction is linked to his arrest on March 12, 2023, by officers from the McMinnville Police Department. After searching Donnahoo, they seized a firearm, cash, and a black zippered bag holding 322 grams of counterfeit pills containing fentanyl, and 145 grams of methamphetamine.

Donnahoo was charged with possessing fentanyl and methamphetamine with the intent to distribute on March 22, 2023.. He was also charged with possession of a firearm and as a felon in possession of a firearm. Donnahoo pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute fentanyl on April 8, 2025.

The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the FBI, the McMinnville Police Department, and the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office. It was prosecuted by Scott M. Kerin, Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Oregon.
