Man Wanted in Deadly Portland Parking Garage Shooting Found Hiding at Tigard Hotel

A 39-year-old man was arrested at a hotel in Tigard yesterday afternoon, following a shooting earlier in the day in a Portland parking garage where one man was killed and another injured.

Portland Police Bureau detectives received information indicating that the victims were specifically targeted by Daniel A. Snegirev.

After Snegirev’s arrest by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Negotiations Team, he was interviewed by PPB detectives and booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center. Snegirev has been charged with second-degree murder with a firearm, second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, and two counts of unlawful use of a firearm.

The shooting took place in a parking garage in the 4200 block of Northeast Halsey Street in the Hollywood Neighborhood. One man died on the scene, and another was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
