Man Found Shot to Death on Portland Sidewalk as Homicide Detectives Search for Suspect

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Homicide Unit of the Portland Police Detective Division is investigating the death by shooting of an adult male, found dead on the sidewalk on Northeast Grand Avenue late on Tuesday night.

The North Precinct received a call at 11.28 p.m. of shots fired in the 500 block of Northeast Holladay Street. On arrival, officers found an adult male victim on the sidewalk south of Northeast Hassalo Street. The victim was declared deceased when Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to the scene.

No suspects were found in the area, and no arrests have been made.
