Man Arrested After Fatal Shooting Outside Portland Bar in Montavilla

PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland Police Bureau officers yesterday (Thursday) detained Brandon Lewis (37) following a fatal shooting at a bar in the 8200 block of Southeast Harrison Street in the Montavilla Neighborhood.

Lewis has been charged with second-degree murder, second-degree assault, and the unlawful use of a weapon. He is detained at the Multnomah County Detention Center.

East Precinct officers responded to a report of a shooting at 2.10 a.m. When they arrived on the scene, they found a deceased adult male in the parking lot. Lewis, who was also injured, was arrested and received hospital treatment before he was transported to the county detention center.
