‘Home Improvement’ Actor Zachery Ty Bryan Arrested in Eugene After Partner Allegedly Tries to Hit Him With Truck

EUGENE, Ore. — The mother of “Home Improvement” star Zachery Ty Bryan’s three children tried to run him down in a pickup truck in Eugene on Saturday afternoon. They were both arrested.

Bryan (44) is in Lane County Jail on charges relating to a probation violation, and Johnnie Faye Cartwright (32) has been charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, first-degree attempted assault, and three counts of reckless endangerment. It is not yet known if the couple’s three children were in the vehicle.

The couple has had a number of explosive physical encounters in recent years.

Bryan’s first arrest in Oregon occurred in 2020 when he and Cartwright became involved in a drunken brawl at her apartment in Eugene.

The incident last Saturday afternoon took place on Big Fall Creek Road, and a spokesperson from the Lane County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that Cartwright had attempted to run him down with her pickup truck.
