Former Medford Business Leader Indicted Over Alleged 100,000 Dollar Theft From Southern Oregon Builders Group
MEDFORD, Ore. — The former CEO of the Builders’ Association of Southern Oregon (BASO), Bradley Bennington, has been indicted on charges of aggravated theft and identity theft.
The indictment follows his arrest last month after a lengthy investigation into the theft involving $100,000.
- October 2025 : BASO reports suspected theft to Medford Police
- February 26, 2026 : Detectives arrest Bennington after audit review
- March 16, 2026 : Jackson County DA announces the indictment
After reporting the theft, BASO provided detectives with a financial forensic audit, and Bennington now faces multiple charges, including five counts of aggravated theft, two counts of theft, three felony counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, and four associated misdemeanor counts.
