Eugene Shopper Held at Gunpoint by 7-Eleven Employee, Police Say

EUGENE, Ore. — A terrified Eugene shopper was held at gunpoint by a 7-Eleven employee at the West 13th Avenue store in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The employee, known as Akashdeep ‘XX’ according to Lane County Jail records, was arrested.

The incident occurred at 1 a.m. yesterday when ‘XX’ allegedly racked a shotgun and blocked the shopper’s exit from the store.

According to a Eugene police report, the shopper bought and paid for an item. He then decided to buy something to drink, but changed his mind and began leaving the store.
