Dutch Bros Officially Leaves Grants Pass for Arizona in Major Headquarters Move
GRANTS PASS, Ore. — After approximately two years of relocating parts of its business to Arizona, the iconic Oregon drive-thru chain Dutch Bros confirmed that it is formally relocating its headquarters from Grants Pass to its rapidly growing office near Phoenix.
Dutch Bros Moving To Arizona
After relocating many corporate jobs to Phoenix, Dutch Bros. donated its Grants Pass headquarters for use as an early education center in September to help address the critical shortage of educational facilities in Josephine County —a factor the company said made it difficult to recruit young executives with families to its business.
Dutch Bros indicated at the time that their move to Arizona would give the company easier access to a major airport and bring it closer to its fastest-growing markets but that a corporate office would be retained in Grants Pass, located on North Valley Drive.
With a market capitalization of $11.8 billion, Dutch Bros is ranked the No. 2 most valuable business in Oregon. Its annual sales grew from $240 million five years ago to $1.3 billion last year, and a further 22% growth is projected for 2025, aided by its fastest-growing markets- Texas and the Southeast.
Dutch Bros has 18,000 employees, mostly working at its drive-thru stands, with an additional 8,000 at franchised locations. It is not yet clear how many people the company employs in Grants Pass or whether it has plans to lay off workers or transfer any to Arizona.
