Chromebooks and Training Doll Stolen From Henley High as Deputies Make Arrest
KLAMATH COUNTY, Ore. — Klamath County Sheriff’s Office officers investigating the burglary at Henley High School, discovered by staff on Friday morning, arrested one of the suspects on Monday.
Surveillance footage from the night of the burglary on Sept 4-5 showed two male suspects entering a detached classroom and stealing 20 Google Chromebooks and a lifelike training doll used in a parenting class.
The school’s estimated loss was about $6,500, and over the weekend, deputies recovered 18 stolen Chromebooks connected to the theft.
One of the suspects, identified as Brandon James Brown, was found on Monday wearing the same clothing seen in surveillance footage. He was arrested and lodged at the Klamath County Jail. Brown faces charges of Burglary II, Theft I, Criminal Trespassing II, and Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle.
The case remains under investigation.
