Ashland Community Wildfire Protection Plan: Public Comments Invited By Council

ASHLAND, Ore. — The City of Ashland’s Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) is being redeveloped to stay up-to-date and address the current needs of the community.

Input from all sectors has been invited by the Ashland City Council who have made a survey available online for public comments.

Ashland Community Wildfire Protection Plan Survey

Since last year, the City of Ashland has been doing research and has assembled a team to collect data and hold interviews about the wildfire situation in the city.

Because the city can’t reach out to everyone, they have devised a survey to get as much input from as many people as possible. They are working with residents, organizations, and agencies to get a thorough picture of public opinion.

All Ashlanders are invited to participate and, as an extra incentive, participants could win a free air purifier. Find the Ashland Community Wildfire Protection Plan Survey here.
