Mystery Shrouds Oregon Man Found Dead Atop Shopping Carts in Troutdale Home Depot Lot

The body of an adult male resting on top of shopping carts in the Troutdale Home Depot parking lot is under investigation as a suspicious death by the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a welfare call at 5 a.m. yesterday (Saturday) at 25101 SE Stark Street. They found the body resting on top of shopping carts. Detectives on the scene could find no obvious signs of injury.

An autopsy to confirm the man’s identity and to establish the cause of death will be conducted by the Multnomah County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Authorities say that at this stage of the investigation, there is no perceived danger to the public.
