The Tidings takes on three new topics. Respond below to have your say before the editorials are written.

Topic 1: Mt. Ashland Expansion. Have things changed such that the Tidings needs to change its endorsement of expansion? Global Warming, Financial exposure and local politics discussed in a frank discussion on the Mt. Ashland Ski Area.

Topic 2: Local Government Funding. With so many requests for funds on the ballot, the Tidings' editors wonder if the city is changing, or are people just fed up with paying so much money to fund the local government.

Topic 3: Ashland Halloween Party. Has the time come to bring back the official Halloween party downtown? Since the city pulled its support for the open party, the true Ashlanders have headed inside, the editors argue, and the parties have been pushed into the bars, making the event less celebratory, less creative and more filled with potential crime.
