Wednesdays at 5 PM on RVTV Channel 9
Repeats Wednesday at 10 PM, and Thursday at 5 PM and 10 PM.
The Editorial Page is a unique partnership of our own local RVTV with our local newspaper, the Ashland Daily Tidings, that takes the Tidings Editorial Board meetings and puts them on the air for the public, BEFORE the editorials are written for publication.
Tune into RVTV each week (The show airs at 5 p.m. on Wednesdays, and repeats at 10 p.m. Wed. and 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Thursdays) or check out the link to RVTV's video on demand here at the Tidings Web site. Each week we delve into three topics that will be upcoming editorials in the Ashland Daily Tidings. What you see is our opening salvos to the topics at hand. We spend 7 minutes on each topic. When the bell sounds, we are done ... for the time being at least ... and it becomes YOUR TURN!
Check in here at the Web site and respond to the topics and discussion you have heard. We want you, the Ashland Daily Tidings' readers to have your say, before our editorials are written for print. We'll check in with the responses, and check back with each other to firm up our position. Then we'll put in print the next week for everyone to see.
Join the debate and help shape the Ashland Daily Tidings editorial board opinions. We know everything we write is sure to generate its share of detractors (and hopefully proponents as well) but at least this way nobody can say they didn't get a chance to have their say BEFORE we do!
Because remember, its your community, and your newspaper!
After the talk, the pen.
