Ashland Little League is trying to raise $30,000 over the next week to cover the cost of a trip to Arizona for its 50/70 Intermediate team, which won its first-ever Oregon state tournament last week to qualify for the Intermediate West Regional Tournament, July 18-25 in Nogales, Arizona.
The money will cover food, lodging and travel expenses for 11 players and four coaches to make the trip.
For any donation of $1,500 or more, Ashland Little League will create an outfield banner with the company's name and logo and hang it either in the new 50/70 outfield or on Hunter Park's Field 2 outfield fence next spring season, 2018.
Checks should be made payable to Ashland Little League, with 50/70 listed in the memo. There's also a GoFundMe page at https://www.gofundme.com/ashlandallstars/donate.
