Ashland High baseball standouts Peyton Fuller and Nick Sanderson both were voted Class 5A second-team all-state selections, Ashland coach Nick Hall announced Thursday.

Fuller, a senior who was voted a first-team all-Midwestern League pitcher, earned second-team all-state pitching honors after going 4-1 with a 1.34 ERA for the Grizzlies. Fuller, who's headed to University of Oregon on a partial athletic scholarship, struck out 49 batters with 22 walks in 47 innings pitched.

Sanderson, a senior who was a first-team all-MWL first baseman, led the Grizzlies in batting average (.354), home runs (2), on base percentage (.543) and slugging percentage (.585).
