April 14, 1949 - March 11, 2017
Sydney Rudolph passed away March 11, 2017. She was born April 14, 1949 in Pocatello, Idaho to Cloy and Sally Hill.
Sydney, often known as Syd, was full to the brim with goodness. With her kindness, dedication, and love of children, she helped found three Waldorf schools. Her gentle hands were always there to guide many students or slip her grandchildren candy at the dinner table. Sydney loved dancing; coffee; angels; and butterflies; but more than anything else, she loved helping others. From cooking chicken noodle soup to fervently supporting auctions, charities, and local artists, it was impossible to know Sydney without feeling the intensity of her caring.
Sydney is survived by her four children, Dena Lieberman, Amy Gygax, Ben Rudolph, and James Rudolph; her three sisters, Vicki Sneddon, Julene Triplett, and Lisa McAteer; her former husband, Robert Rudolph; and her four grandchildren, Raya Lieberman, Tilion Lieberman, Quincy Rudolph, and Teddy Rudolph. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cloy and Sally; and by her brother, Larry Hill.
A memorial to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Madrone Trail Public Charter School, 3070 Ross Lane, Central Point. In lieu of sending flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northwest Seasonal Workers Association.
