Lela Fay Bradley, 76, passed away Monday, February 27, 2017. Lela was born October 24, 1940 in Austen, Colorado to Paul Hanley and Perl May Booth. She married Dale Arnspiger in 1954 and the couple were united until his death in 1991. In 2003, Lela married Laurence Bradley and they continued to live in Medford, Oregon.
Lela worked for the Medford School District for 37 years as Head Custodian until her retirement. She was an avid member of many fraternal orders including The Royal Order of Eagles and the Moose Lodge, and her husband, Laurence Bradley was a past Master of the Waren Lodge #10 of Jacksonville. Lela truly enjoyed attending all of the Masonic and Shriners outings and, in particular, the Shriners Club for kids. She remained a strong advocate for Kids and loved being around children.
Lela loved to travel, especially boating and fishing the regional lakes and at the Oregon coast. She had a particular fondness for halibut fishing near Coos Bay on the Betty K. Charters and Five Star Charters near Gold Beach. Lela was a darn good dancer and loved country music. She was loved by all who crossed her path in this life and will be truly missed by many friends and family who include Lana Grene; Charles Frazer; Troy Bradley; Shavana Gregher; and her husband, Laurence Milton Bradley.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. March 17, 2017 at Hillcrest Mortuary, 2201 North Phoenix Road, Medford, Ore. The service will be officiated by Reverend Charley Granade.
