Mr. Samuel "Sam" B. Lowell, 76, passed away in the early morning of Sunday, September 18, 2016 in the peaceful surroundings of his home, enveloped by the love of his family.
Sam was born October 1, 1939 to parents, Harry and Thelma in New York, N.Y. He held a BSBA degree from the University of Florida and an MBA degree with distinction from New York University. Sam achieved great success throughout his life as a venture capitalist from coast to coast. A member of MENSA, a Contract Bridge enthusiast, and a gourmand, Sam exuded a great passion for life, adventure, and travel; Sam was a genuine embodiment of undying spirit.
Once upon a time, Sam married Rhodé, the love of his life. Together they shared 36 years of mutual love, respect, laughter, tears, and joys, sprinkled with a lifetime of possibilities. Sam shared his time, offered his love, and imparted his wisdom with his family and close friends.
He is survived by his wife, Rhodé; his beloved sons, David and Rubén; godsons, Anthony, Richard Jr., and Nicholas; and extended family.
The family is grateful for the condolences, but in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association are welcome in memory of Samuel B. Lowell. Services will be private.
