A memorial service for Malcus Williams, an longtime Ashland Police Officer who died of a “major medical event” Friday while on duty, is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17, in the Ashland High School Gymnasium at 201 South Mountain Ave. in Ashland. Williams, who was in his early 50s, was a 21-year veteran of the police department.

A simulcast live stream of the celebration of Williams life and memory will be available in the high school theater for overflow attendees.
