The Ashland School Board has appointed a Bond Committee made up of Ashland community members to help plan for a potential November 2018 bond measure.
According to a release, the bond proposal would include goals for enhancing safety, security and education for Ashland students.
As part of the process, the district will host three public forums to gather community input about facility needs.
The public sessions will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on both Tuesday, Feb. 27, and Wednesday, March 7, and from noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 3.
The forums will take place in the Ashland High School library, 201 S. Mountain Ave.. Parking is available in the high school parking lots. Attendees may enter campus from "The Quad," and directions to the library will be posted.
Limited childcare service will be available for attendees. Services for English-Spanish translation and American Sign Language interpretation will be available.
