What would the profile of the ideal Ashland city administrator look like? The public can share its ideas Tuesday night at an open house.
Springsted Waters Executive Recruiting, the firm hired by the city to find a successor for current city Administrator John Karns, will facilitate the meeting from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 20 in the Council Chambers at 1175 E. Main St.
Insight from the open house will help the recruiting firm identify with community values, understand the challenges and opportunities facing Ashland, and determine what role the city administrator will have in the community, according to the city announcement of the meeting.
Written public comment is also encouraged via letter (send to Tina Gray, City of Ashland, 20 E. Main Street, Ashland, OR 97520) or email (email@example.com).
The regular City Council meeting will follow at 7 p.m.
